The Indian Lakes Stingrays (IL) is a competitive summer swim team under the Virginia Beach Swim League (VBSL). Under the VBSL there are twenty-three summer teams, divided up between 4 divisions. Five regular meets are schedule per team with two invitational swim meets, Divisional and All Stars, at the end of the regular season.
The most important goal of the IL Stingrays is to provide a climate of friendly competition, where swimmers can develop a love for the sport, improve their swimming skills, and learn the principles of good sportsmanship.
